Are you a fan of Call of Duty: Ghost and own it on a Sony console or PC? Are you wondering when Devastation DLC is coming to your gaming system of choice? Well wonder no more, as you don’t have to wait long to get hold of it as Call of Duty: Ghosts second multiplayer expansion, launches on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC on May 8.
The DLC includes four new multiplayer maps: Behemoth, set in a South American excavation site; Collision exists on a container ship that has crashed into New York City bridge; and, Unearthed, a call-back to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3′s Dome map.
The fourth map, Ruins, is set amongst an ancient Mayan temple. Players that find and complete the map’s Field Order will have the ability to play as the alien antagonist in 1987 film Predator, complete with its iconic dual wrist blades and shoulder-mounted plasma cannon.
Not only that but you get the next episode in the Extinction series Mayday. A previously released trailer reveals the monsters included in Mayday, such as the 100-foot-tall Kraken and the wall-crawling Seeder.
The expansion also introduces the Ripper, a new two-in-one tactical weapon which provides two different configurations: medium to short-range capability as a SMG, and medium to long-range as an assault rifle. Ghosts‘ DLC season pass holders have instant access to this new gun today.
If you haven’t got the previously released DLC pack Onslaught and are thinking of getting this one and the next 2 that are planned to come out later this year, then I recommend you pick up the season pass, you get all 4 DLC packs for £34.99 from Game. Or if you are only interested in picking up this one pack, then you can purchase it separately for £11.59 when it is released. Devastation launched earlier this month on Xbox 360 and Xbox One as a timed exclusive to the consoles.
