Hello Fellow Cravers. It’s time to get updated on the weeks news, UK charts and game releases this week.
3) Final Fantasy 7 is coming to Playstation 4 in 2015
Square Enix will release an enhanced version of Final Fantasy 7 exclusively for PlayStation 4 in spring 2015, producer Shinji Hashimoto announced at PlayStation Experience today.
The PS4 version of Final Fantasy 7 is based on the Windows PC release that hit Steam in 2013. That version of the classic PlayStation role-playing game featured boosted resolution, achievements and a character booster that let players power up their characters without grinding.
2) Street Fighter V announced, is going to be a PS4 and PC exclusive
After leaking earlier last week, Capcom and Sony Computer Entertainment officially confirmed Street Fighter 5 at PlayStation Experience today. The game will be exclusive to PlayStation 4 and Windows PC, Sony’s Adam Boyes and Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono confirmed, and it will feature cross-platform play.
Boyes said that Capcom and Sony have been working together to make Street Fighter 5 for PlayStation 4, and clarified that “PS4 will be the only console this game ever appears on.”
At PlayStation Experience, Capcom and Sony unveiled the first gameplay footage from Street Fighter 5. The first live gameplay demonstration of the game will take place at Capcom Cup next weekend.
1) Godzilla is coming to Playstation 3 and 4 next year
Godzilla is stomping onto the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in 2015.
Announced during The Game Awards, Godzilla was wryly referred to as the “OG” and cited as a solution to common problems that city managers everywhere face, like conflict resolution and urban renewal. Godzilla is being developed by Natsume Atari and published by Bandai Namco. It was originally thought to be a Japanese exclusive, but western players will be able to fight classic kaiju as well this coming summer.
Game modes will include 20 different missions filled with city-crushing mayhem, “Diorama Mode” that will allow players to “place Godzilla in different settings to capture epic photos,” and a “King of Monsters Mode” that will see the green titan fight his way through the franchises most memorable enemies.
